SeaPak Review & Giveaway!!

Do you love seafood?  I know I certainly do!  We are big seafood fans in this family and take every opportunity we can to find new things to try, so we were very excited when SeaPak contacted me for a review!

The SeaPak Shrimp Company is the #1 retail brand within the frozen specialty seafood category. For 60 years, they've provided the highest quality, best-tasting shrimp. And at least 50% of their seafood is wild caught, which means a lot to me.

We recieved a coupon good for a free item up to $6.99, so I scoured the local grocery store adds to see if anyone had any sales.  Sure enough, one did, so we were able to get a big box of clam strips with the coupon, since the girls never had them & the last time I had a clam strip (back in my school days at the cafeteria), it wasn't very good--soggy outside, rubbery inside and flavorless.  I was anxious to see what SeaPak's version were like!

When we came home, I heated up some coconut oil in a big pan on the stove and got the clam strips out of the box to get ready to cook up.

I put about half the bag in the pan to fry up & it only took maybe 3-4 minutes until they were golden & crispy!  Talk about a quick lunch! And very simple too, which totally rocks in my book!

We put them on paper towels to drain any excess oil off and then dug in!

My girls LOVED them!  They typically are cautious trying something new, but they chowed right down.  When I got to finally try some, I was pleasantly surprised.  The clam strips were crispy, full of flavor & not rubbery like I remembered my other experiences with clam strips were.  They were so good, Sophie (yes, my picky eater) asked if we can get them again because she loved them that much.

So I HIGHLY recommend SeaPak's clam strips, but that's not all they have to offer!  They also carry a huge variety of other seafood products including Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp, Popcorn Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, Coconut Shrimp, crab cakes, salmon cakes, Tilapia Tenders, & popcorn fish.  Check your local grocer's frozen seafood section for all of these great options from SeaPak.
